Introduction to ARchery
Beginner Classes
An excellent starting point for anyone interested in exploring the sport of archery. Classes are designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in archery.
Participants learn:
- fundamentals of archery
- safety
- proper stance
- bow handling
- shooting techniques
Classes are 90 minutes (60 minutes shooting time).
Must be at least 7 years old to participate.
All required equipment is provided.
Please note: Beginner Class program is closed for the winter (until February).
Classes are based on availability of volunteer coaches.
Please contact us if you would like to join a class but don’t see one available.

Events, Birthday Parties, and Private Lessons
For individuals or groups interested in a private event, we can support groups from 5 to 20 people. Typical events follow a similar structure to the beginner classes above, but can be tailored to meet the needs of the specific group.
Must be at least 7 years old to participate.

Questions
Is there an age requirement for the beginner classes?
Archers need to be 7 years old to participate in beginner classes. We have a play area for younger kids while lessons are in progress.
Do I need to be a member to take a class or participate in a shoot?
Anyone can take a Beginner Class or join us for one of our events or monthly club shoots.
Who needs to sign a Liability Waiver
Anyone attending a class or event must sign a liability waiver, including those just watching. Parents will need to sign on behalf of their children.
Can I use my own equipment?
For Beginner Classes, archers may bring their own equipment or use club equipment. For shoots, archers will need to provide their own equipment.
